Christiania Netbutik (scroll down for english version)
er en kommerciel virksomhed, der er blevet oprettet af Christiania i kollektivt regi, ejet og drevet af Christiania. Overskudet går til Christianias fælleskasse.


Historien kort fortalt
I sommeren 2003 solgte flere tøjfirmaer Bevar Christiania tøj uden at én krone deraf kom Christiania til gode. Derfor besluttede nogle christianitter at registrere følgende varemærker: Christiania, Bevar Christiania og de 3 gule prikker. I februar 2004 blev Foreningen Mærk Christiania stiftet. Christiania Netbutik er udsprunget heraf.


Foreningen har to hovedformål

	At beskytte Christianias varemærker.
	At drive en forretning med Christiania tøj, ting og informationsmateriale.

Det ser således ud i vores vedtægter
Foreningens formål er at varetage, beskytte, håndhæve og videreudvikle varemærket Christiania, både materielt og immaterielt, samt alle rettigheder der afledes herfra, i forhold til kommerciel brug og tilstræbe bæredygtighed. Foreningen har retten til at udstede licens til brug af varemærket. Foreningen repræsenterer Christiania i alle spørgsmål om ret til eller krænkelse af varemærket Christiania.


Om overskuddet fra Christiania Netbutik
Overskud fra foreningens aktiviteter og licenspenge tilfalder Christianias Fælleskasse, der administreres af Økonomimødet. (Mærk Christianias vedtægter).


Lidt om Christianias økonomi
Christianias fælleskasse får sine penge fra beboernes og virksomhedernes brugsleje - det andre ville kalde husleje. En gruppe af kasserere administrerer det daglige arbejde, og en gang om måneden afholdes Økonomimødet, som fastlægger, hvad Christiania skal bruge sine midler til. Hvert efterår afholdes budgetfællesmøder, hvor næste års budget bliver vedtaget. Mødet er åbent for alle christianitter. Alle beslutninger vedrørende vores fælles penge ligger derfor i kollektive beslutningsprocesser, og det er derfor også budgetfællesmødet, der beslutter hvad henholdsvis licenspenge og overskud fra Christiania Netbutik skal bruges til.

Is a commercial company founded by Christiania, collectively owned and run by Christianianites. All profit goes to Christiania’s budget.

Our history in brief
In the summer of 2003 several clothing companies sold "Bevar Christiania" clothes without a dime coming to Christiania.
Therefore, some Christianites decided to register the following trademarks:
"Christiania", "Bevar Christiania", and the 3 yellow dots/spots.
From this decision to formerly register our name, the association ”Foreningen Mærk Christiania” was founded in 2004.
Christiania webshop rises from this association in February 2006.

The association has two primary purposes
1. To protect the trademarks of Christiania.
2. To run a business that sells Christiania clothes, products and informative material.

In formal terms, we ratified the following
The association’s goal is to attend to, protect, enforce and further develop the trademarks of Christiania, both material and immaterial, as well as all rights that are derived herefrom, in condition to commercial use and aiming to build a sustainable business. The association reserves the right to issue licenses to use the trademarks related in any way, shape or form to Christiania. The association represents Christiania in all questions, concerns or actions concerning the use or misuse of Christiania’s trademark or associated products.

A word about the profits from Christiania webshop
The profits from the association’s activities and license payments go to Christiania’s common box. The common box is administrated by the economy meeting.(According to the regulations of Foreningen Mærk Christiania).

A brief summary about Christiania’s economy
Christianias collective budget receives money from its citizens and businesses who pay for right of use (one can only pay user fees in Christiania, ownership is banned) – this system is similar to what others would call tenant/landlord relationship, except the ”landlord” is the collective. A group of cashiers administrate the daily work, and once a month an  ”economy meeting” is held, where it is determined what Christiania shall spend its funds on. Each fall budget-common-meetings are held, where next year’s budget is decided. All meetings are open to all Christianites. All decisions regarding our common money is placed in collective proccesses, and, therefore, it's in the budget-meeting where we decide how money from license fees and profits from the webshop will be used.

How can you help us to protect the trademark?
If you see anybody selling clothes or other articles with Christiania or the 3 yellow spots, and the store, salesman, and/or  manufacturer isn't listed in our list of salesmen and manufacturers, please contact us.  Upon notification, we will contact the  salesmen and/or manufacturer.
